My 5 years in retail marketing and property management honed my knowledge and skills in branding a commercial real estate asset, marketing unique customer experiences using traditional and digital marketing strategies, and managing the operational maintenance and needs of a multi-use property.
For over 2 years, I assisted in overseeing the day-to-day management of Scarborough Town Centre, a 2 million square foot shopping centre in the East GTA and one of the top 20 shopping malls in Canada.
During that time, I conducted numerous surveys, observation tests, and building reviews to ensure Leasing teams receive the correct information to secure the right tenant mix.
Through market research and brand promotions, we determined the type of brands that would delight customers based on shopper behaviours and consumption. We introduced exciting fashion, lifestyle, technology and food and beverage offerings such as Cacao 70, Kwan Dim Sum, Muji, Saje, Footaction, Sukoshi, Jump+, Innisfree, and 3 major flagship expansions for Aritzia, H&M, and Sephora.
I ensure the customer experience resonates beyond shoppers to our most valued guests, the tenants.
